All US troops out of Iraq by September 2008? Honestly, what is the point?

The British evacuated over 300,000 from Dunkirk in a week.

Republicans say we need to win in Iraq, but we've never had anything to win there, it started wrong and can only continue wrong.

We can only alter why we are there by forcing the place into a condition where the Iraqis are even worse than our corrupt presence in their country in the first place.

Is that what we want the world to hear of us?

We can and should simply leave immediately.

But, I expect, the rationale against that is it would, as an admission of error, leave us open to a demand for reparations.
